Attribute

The data format Attribute is used for attributes and attribute values. It is not possible to create variations with this data format. Create and export the data format in the Data » Dynamic export menu. Import the data format in the Data » Dynamic import menu. The Exporting data and Importing data pages of the manual describe how you export and import the data format.

Pay close attention to the exact spelling of the data fields. The data cannot be processed if the data fields are spelled incorrectly.

1. Overview of the data fields

Table 1 explains the data fields for the Attribute data format in alphabetical order as well as filter options that you set in the Filter tab of the data format.

The attribute’s name in the system

AttributeContentPage

This data field is no longer used.

AttributeFrontendName

The attribute’s name in the online store
Example: Colour

AttributeID

Attribute ID

Activate the filter, select the operator and enter the value.

AttributeImage

Image link option in the attribute settings. It specifies whether or not the attribute can be linked to images.
1 = Image link possible
2 = Image link not possible

AttributePosition

The attribute position in lists, e.g. the attribute overview

AttributeValueBackendName

The attribute value’s name in the system
Example: Red

AttributeValueComment

Entry in the attribute value’s Note text field

AttributeValueFrontendName

The attribute value’s name in the online store
Example: Red

AttributeValueID

The attribute value’s ID

AttributeValuePosition

The attribute value’s position in the value table

Lang

The attribute’s language
If no language is selected, then en will be used.

Activate the filter and select the language.

2. Overview of the synchronisation fields

The data fields that are listed in table 2 are available for data synchronisation. For mandatory synchronisation fields (M), select the option Synchronisation as Import procedure.

Mandatory synchronisation fields

The field AttributeID is a mandatory field for the synchronization. The rest of the fields can also be used for the synchronization if desired.

The field AttributeValueID is the mandatory synchronisation field for the fields AttributeValueBackendName, AttributeValueComment, AttributeValueFrontendName, AttributeValuePosition and AttributeValueSurcharge.
